A Voice of Reason

Let’s be reasonable. Let’s take a breath as a nation and do some serious pondering about the tension and animosity in this country.

All lives matter, regardless of race, religion, skin color, etc.  But we cannot erase history.  History happened.  Every nation has a history.  Every nation has things in their past that have caused disgrace.  There is no perfect place on earth.  There is no way people of any race, anywhere are going to create a perfect place because there are no perfect people.

Will taking down monuments and defacing them erase the past? No.  It will not.  Will changing the American flag erase anything of the past? No. It will not.  Before we start destroying everything that makes us American (United States American:  we have other American neighbors:  Canadians are also in North America; Central and South Americans are still Americans since “America” is part of the name of the continents those people inhabit.

Our country was not founded on slavery.  The United States flag was not about slavery:  50 stars represent 50 states.  Red stripes represent the blood  shed in battle to win our independence from England.  The white stripes represent purity, integrity, and honesty.   There were Native Americans who fought alongside the immigrants from Great Britain to defeat the British.  I don’t see them railing against the flag or the monuments.  And they were treated at least as badly as the slaves, if not worse, and they still primarily live on reservations on land that was granted to them by our government.  They are impoverished, often without running water and electricity.

Our history has been re-written for years by people who don’t want to believe, or don’t want the past three generations to know the truth.  So here is some truth that is being changed into lies:

The first birth control and abortions (sanctioned by Democrats) were done in black communities because Planned Parenthood didn’t want the black population to grow.  (Research Margaret Sanger)

Quotes:

The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.

A free race cannot be born of slave mothers.

Diplomats make it their business to conceal the facts. (Politicians)

Before the Emancipation Proclamation there were many black people who owned slaves.  The slaves came from Africa, sold to slave traders by black people in Africa.

The Democratic party wants to give black people everything for free:  free health care, free education, etc.  Do you really believe it’s because they love you and want to make up for the past? No.  It’s because the party holding the purse strings has the power.  They want to be the dictatorial party.  They believe in socialism/communism.

If you want truth, do some research, and not just from Wikipedia, which is documented by individuals who may or may not have all the facts.
