We are living in a day when the government decides everything, and has been trying for years to even dictate what we are allowed to eat. I’m still waiting for that issue to hit the Supreme Court. Some people have rights; some people lose their rights. Please, come quickly Lord Jesus.
Cynthia and Robert Gifford, owners of the Liberty Ridge Farm in Schaghticoke, New York, have lost in court once again. The New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department upheld a ruling imposing $13,00 in fines and damages and calling for them to participate in classes designed to educate away their prejudices against homosexuals.
But the desire not to participate in homosexual weddings is not nearly the same as a white person’s prejudice against letting a person of color eat in their restaurant. Proscriptions against homosexuality are found in the sacred text of the Bible, in both Old and New Testaments, and are practiced by many world religions.
Here in the fifty-first state of Destin, our governor has gone before the people many times in recent years to affirm our sound reliance on the plain text of the constitution to guide our executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government. And…
