I love this passage about Elijah. Even a preacher, a prophet, a Sunday school teacher, a youth minister, a preacher’s wife or child can get depressed when it seems the world is closing in, and it seems no one cares. We as parishoners need to remember that our shepherds, their families, and our brothers and sisters in Christ can get depressed, and it doesn’t always show. We need each other.
