Hosea is a very interesting book of the Bible.
In this book, God used a man named Hosea to show Israel how they have ‘committed adultery’ against Him.
God has loved Israel with a strong love, providing for her needs, and taking care of her children. Yet, Israel had gone after other gods, and polluted the land with idol worship, and departed from the knowledge and love of God.
God had Hosea marry a harlot, a prostitute who was very promiscuous.
She bore him a son and other children, but then left Hosea several times to be with other men.
