Oh, No! I’ve Lost My Face

There are a lot of things I appreciate about Facebook. I have been able to reconnect with childhood friends and classmates, keep in touch with friends and family that are far away, keep up with family events, etc. I’ve had my account with Facebook for a few years now.

But. . .sometimes they lose my password, or for whatever reason, it stops working. I reset my password and now I can’t find my account. Facebook is setting up a new account. I don’t want a new account. I want to be able to access my old account. I only have one e-mail address and I don’t want to have to get a new e-mail address either. I have a hard enough time keeping up with e-mail as it is.

I started an author page at the suggestion of a mentor (on Facebook) and I don’t know how to access that either. I thought it was a second page to my primary Facebook account. There surely should be a better/easier way to communicate with folks who are too busy to talk on the phone. On the phone you only communicate with one person at a time. On FB you send out your message and all of your friends and family see it so you’re not spending all of your time on the phone.

If anyone out there has any suggestions on resolving this issue, I would greatly appreciate the help. If Facebook would give us a way to contact them with these issues instead of just giving us a FAQ page that doesn’t address it, that would be nice too. Apparently they really don’t want to deal with this issue since there is no way to contact them directly.

Thanks to all or anyone who has suggestions.
